A huge 76m (or 247 ft) wind turbine is being proposed for the east of River Yeo Farm Whitehouse Lane, Loxton (not far from Shiplate Road or the land used for Bleadon Country Sports). The Bleadon Horticultural Society's 42nd Annual Summer Flower Show is to be held in the Coronation Hall on Saturday 5th September 2015. Doors open at 2.30pm, Raffle, Tea & Biscuits.
Admittance 50p (Children free).

An evening of Bleadon Past & Present with a show of pictures projected on to the screen at the hall. They are drawn from Penny Robinson's extensive archive of old village photographs, with a few recent ones thrown in to illustrate changes, and a commentary will also be supplied.
The evening is in aid of hall funds and tickets will be £5, to include a light buffet at the interval. This is scheduled for the evening of Saturday 17th October at The Coronation Halls. Refreshments and Bar will be available. More details from Les Masters or Contact BOB and I will pass on your enquiry.
