For 2015 Rememberance, Patrick White's display of memorial crosses for the Bleadon Fallen was erected again inside Bleadon Church, complete with information on the individuals obtained from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission It is intended that this display will be repeated each year until 2018.

Patrick White has re-displayed his 19 Memorial Garden Crosses that raised £185 for Help for Heroes earlier this year (see August 2014 blog) remembering those who had fallen in The Great War. They are now erected on the railings at the church entrance. He has also now added an additional 6 crosses for those Bleadon men who died in the Second World War.

DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE BLEADON FALLEN?(click for list) IF SO, PLEASE EMAIL PAT

Patrick hopes that people will please donate generously to the Poppy Appeal. He would also like to thank John Hickley for his work on the plaque and "alpha sign systems" for their kind sponsorship of the name plates.
