Bleadon Halls Closed for Forseeable Future

Posted on 19th March, 2020

UPDATE 2022 : HALLS NOW FULLY OPEN TO ALL USERS

We receive regular enquiries on events and whether Halls are re-open but rely on others to keep us informed, so we suggest in the first instance, you contact the group or class that you are interested in via links on The Coronation and Jubilee Halls Bleadon with Facilities Regular Users Clubs Groups and Events

Due to the current Coronavirus situation:

"The Halls Committee have taken the sad but necessary decision today to close the halls to all hirers with immediate effect" (Wednesday 18 March 2020).

As it is unknown as to when they can reopen if you wish to book the halls in the foreseeable future please email the booking officer, Kate James, at bleadoncoronationhalls@gmail.com, so that she can contact you as soon as she has further information.

This recent announcement follows the recent suspension of the monthly village market:

"Sadly the Market Organiser, Jo Jones, with the full support of the Coronation Hall Committee, has decided to suspend the Village Market during the current situation. Many of our lovely volunteers, stallholders and customers fall into the "at risk" group and it is felt important to delay the spread of infection in this vulnerable population while building up the herd immunity in the young. Well, that is the current theory. It will not be forever. Bleadon Village Market will be back. In the meantime please support our small traders at local open air markets,if you are able, and on line.

You will find some links on www.bleadon.org.uk/market to our regular stall holders and more information about our lovely stallholders on the Bleadon Village Market Facebook page ..."
